The Dianetics seminar was delivered at the University of Holguin in Cuba

Last year a student in the city of Holguin, a major commercial center of Cuba, found Dianetics on the Internet. He ordered a copy of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, studied it and began giving Dianetics counseling to a friend and then to others. A short time later, with the assistance of a professor, he presented a seminar at the University of Holguin.

In the seminar, more than 50 co-audit teams learned how to give Dianetics counseling and started applying the procedure to each other. At the end of the seminar, the students voted unanimously to form an official Dianetics group, and the professor who organized the seminar agreed to be the faculty advisor.
